Experience The South Boundary Singers (click to view)
On November 14, 2021, we served as the choir for the Sunday service at Trinity Unity Methodist Church. This was the inaugural performance lead by our new Artistic Director, Keely Rhodes. We were missing a few singers but managed to hold it together anyway. Here’s a link to us singing, done by Stan Gossard (thanks Stan!).

It is with mixed emotions that we said goodbye to our leader, our inspiration, Diane Haslam, back in October 2020. She decided to return to her homeland in England to be near her mum and family. We wish her only the best as she begins the next phase in her storied life.
The COVID-19 situation left us playing a wait and see game before seeking her replacement. That time has now come. We have formed a Search Committee to seek qualified candidates to take over as our Artistic Director. It is our intent to compile a list of interested candidates, complete an interview process narrowing down the number of potential candidates to three, and then have a series of rehearsals with each one so that the candidate will get a feel for us as well as us doing the same with him/her. Final selection will be made by a vote taken of the singers. In the case of a tie the Board will decide the winner.
If things go as planned, with our director search and the COVID-19 menace, we may be ready to resume limited singing again in the Fall. We anticipate resuming normal rehearsals and performances by Spring, 2022. Stay tuned for further announcements.

Our annual concert to support our endowed scholarship at USC Aiken will be held on Sunday, February 10 at 4 pm in the Etherredge Center. This fund was established and supported by us since our founding in 2007. Each year we award a scholarship to an aspiring vocal music student who is seeking a career in performance or music education. We will do a joint concert with the university’s choir with all money collected going to support this scholarship fund.
