Bound to Sing – What’s Going on?

Bound to Sing, an auditioned Aiken County-wide boys choir was formed, nurtured and supported by us. It is now matured and has become self-sufficient. You may wish to check out its own online presence here Bound to Sing.

The choir rehearses on Tuesday afternoons during the school year and is always looking for boys with unchanged voices who love to sing.  Auditions are held early in each school term and each term ends with at least one concert for the boys.  It is under the  leadership of Musical Director James Bennett and collaborative accompanist Joyce English.

My boy likes to sing and we were looking for a place for him to learn and enjoy.  This group supplies us both.

Requirements for membership in Bound to Sing are as follows:  Unchanged voices, able to carry a tune, a passion for singing, availability for and ability to attend regular rehearsals.

The audition is very informal – we want to know if the boy can sing a song of his choice and carry a tune.

Bound to Sing is a part of Boys Choirs of Aiken County (BCAC).
