Our Leaders

Keely Rhodes is our Artistic Director. Keely is a mezzo-soprano who received a Bachelor’s of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory and a Master’s and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Texas in Austin. In academia, Dr. Rhodes has served as a director of choirs, head of vocal studies, and an assistant professor of music. She has also had the honor of serving as a Fulbright scholar to Italy in 2006-2007. She joined USC-Aiken as an Assistant Professor of Music in 2019. Keely also teaches private voice lessons, performs as a soloist and collaborative artist for choral, chamber, and symphonic groups and as an opera singer in the United States, Europe, Central America, and South America.

Elizabeth Lindroth

Elizabeth Lindroth is our accompanist. She studied music at the University of South Carolina in Columbia and graduated with a degree in Piano Performance.  While at University she enjoyed accompanying vocalists and musicians and continues to enjoy collaborative music.  She has served as a church musician for several years and currently plays for the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Aiken.  She teaches private piano and voice lessons in Aiken and Wagoner. She is also a music teacher for the New Holland Mennonite school where she instructs students in music theory, aural skills, and vocal technique.
